## Experience

- Software Engineering Consultant, Various companies (Nov 2024 to present): fintech, web3, blockchain, IoT, and web platforms, primarily in Elixir and Phoenix. For a B2B loyalty-currency exchange platform (buyers prepay to issue airline miles and points), co-built the Stripe prepayment and billing engine (subscriptions, top-ups, idempotent payment webhooks, deferred-revenue double-entry ledger) that turned a pre-revenue product into a monetisable one; shipped its first live seller integration and an HMAC-signed webhook system with zero-downtime secret rotation; hardened financial correctness with reversal entries, retries, and a reconciliation worker wired to Slack alerts, keeping a double-entry ledger balanced through a 48-hour, 42-million-request stress test; and built a TypeScript and ethers.js blockchain audit-trail microservice for tamper-evident, third-party-verifiable records. Also delivered third-party integrations and automated monitoring and alerting that replaced manual checks with proactive alerts.
- Software Engineer, Integral Thread (Sept 2025 to March 2026): full stack engineer on Give With Click, a fundraising platform built with Elixir, Phoenix, and LiveView. Cut weekly manual reporting time by about 70 percent with internal tooling.
- Backend Engineer, qiibee ag, Zürich (Aug 2021 to Oct 2024): one of two primary backend engineers on a multi-tenant, blockchain-backed loyalty platform serving 20+ brands, built as an Elixir umbrella of 15+ services. Built the redemption engine integrating Shopify, Coinbase, Binance, PayPal, and airline mileage programs; led the Shopify integration; authored NFT-balance reconciliation and nonce re-sync tooling that restored data integrity after a blockchain outage (500+ transactions made whole); engineered core blockchain signing-service capabilities; and improved data retrieval performance by 1400 percent within Lambda constraints.
